Who We Are
Albanian Skills Association is a leading organization dedicated to promoting vocational excellence, professional skills, and lifelong learning in Albania.
Established in 2014 as an initiative to create national skills competitions, it became the first and only organization of its kind in the Western Balkans. Through these competitions, Albanian Skills has proudly represented Albania in WorldSkills and EuroSkills events, connecting the country with the global skills movement.
On its 10th anniversary, Albanian Skills celebrates a decade of strong commitment to empowering young talents, advancing education and training, fostering innovation, and building a skilled future for Albania. The association continues its dedication to achieving Albania’s full membership in WorldSkills, ensuring that Albanian youth have access to international standards, recognition, and opportunities for excellence.
We are excited to kick off the registration of competitors for the 10th Edition of the National Skills Competitions, which will take place at the Pyramid of Tirana, from 14–16 November 2025.
This special anniversary edition is supported by the SkillAlb Project, co-funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and ENGIM, marking a new chapter of collaboration and growth for skills development in Albania.
Albanian Skills 10th National Skills Competitions
14–16 November 2025 at Pyramid of Tirana
General Conditions for All Competitions:
- Young people aged 16–25 (on the date of the competition).
- Must meet the specific requirements of the relevant competition:
- Have an educational background or professional experience in the announced categories.
- Be able to understand and communicate in English.
Important: Multiple applications for different competitions are not allowed, as all competitions are held on the same day. In case of multiple applications, only the first submitted application will be considered valid.
Selection Criteria
Competitors are selected by the professional jury of the respective competition. Criteria include:
- Relevant experience in the competition field
- Motivation expressed in the application form
- Balanced gender representation and regional diversity from across Albania, as well as from various companies and schools
Previous participants are welcome to apply. However, in the case of a large number of suitable new applicants, priority is given to those who have never participated in Albanian Skills.
Participation is free of charge. Competitors must ensure availability on the published dates. While participants are expected to cover their own travel to the competition venue, the organization will cover transportation and accommodation for participants from outside Tirana, based on available funds, starting with the most remote areas first until funds are exhausted.

Registration Process
The registration process is conducted online on the official YUMME platform and Albanian Skills website. Participation is free, and the registration period is open for at least one calendar month, closing on 9 November 2025.
Competitors can attend optional mentoring/information sessions before the competition. Professional juries, composed of experts and specialists in their respective fields, develop the criteria, tasks, and competition rules. Tasks are evaluated over the three days of the competition, and winners are announced at the closing ceremony.
All participants receive certificates, and winners receive medals and trophies.
Prizes
Details of all prizes will be published in the following weeks.
- First-place winners will travel for exchange and learning visits to WorldSkills/EuroSkills events or other international competitions during 2026.
- Other prizes will also be offered, including professional development opportunities, internships, and additional awards based on competition categories.

- 15 November, 10:00–16:00: Day 2 – Competitions & Thematic Panels
- 16 November, 10:00–16:00: Day 3 – Competitions & Closing Ceremony
